The Red-Thread Coats and Arms and family crests, when available, are designed to specific descriptions from historical records for your surname. The mantling, shield shape, helmet and name banner, is at the discretion of the individual artist, unless otherwise stated or agreed upon. The actual items placed on the shield will follow historical records however. If you wish to have a complete custom COA made, when no descript is available, we can do that as well. samples
These beautifully designed computer images can be used for many different functions, as letterhead, computer art, or they make impressive printed art suitable for framing (8" x 10") ready to share with your family. Our 'Red Thread Crests & Arms' can be ordered with a gold embossed background, a tartan background [see samples], or with a plain white or colored background if specified. If not specified, we will design it for you with a white background. Images can also be used as 'wallpaper' on your computer desktop. Each Coat of Arms is made at 400 resolution and will produce an 8" x 10" image for printing and displaying. These images can be copied and reduced in size to fit your particular needs. These are graphic computer images, which will be sent to you via email, ready to be printed or saved on your computer.
